Patch Notes - Version 1.3.8
We interrupt your daily flight to bring you a new patch. It adds the new Challenge menu, a section where you can review all challenges in the game, as well as sort them by completion status. You can also view and switch to any unlocked paintjobs here.
The Shipyard was also updated to only display unlocked paintjobs. This should make it easier to browse between all 50 available paintjobs in Aerostrike.
Additionally, new high resolution settings have been added to the Video section of the Options menu. You can go all the way up to 4K! However, the game will also cap the available resolutions to the physical monitor's own resolution.
Finally, some minor audio and visual changes were added to Generators and Doors, and a lot of bugs have been squashed.

Additions:
- Added a new Challenge menu. It is available under Info.
- You can view all Aerostrike challenges here, both completed and pending.
- You can also see what Paintjob each challenge rewards, and switch to it once unlocked.
Visuals:
- Improved the Generator's animation.
- Improved the inside of Containers.
- Added a tiny animation to Open doors.
- The green "open" light will brighten and dim in a loop.
- No other door has an animation.
Audio:
- Added a cue sound when charging and draining Generators.
- Added a humming sound to Generators.
- The pitch of the sound is affected by the energy level.
Shipyard:
- The Paintjob submenus now only display unlocked paintjobs.
- This should make it easier to browse between available paintjobs
Options:
- The game now automatically caps the resolution options to the resolution of the physical computer monitor, up to 4K.
- Added three higher resolution settings in the Video Options menu.
- The new resolutions are: 2560x1440, 3200x1800, and 3840x2160
Bugs:
- Fixed a bug with the Stinger while trying to use Boost Thrusters with the Toggle option.
- Fixed a crash when trying to take a screenshot while the game was paused.
- Fixed a bug where several particles would not appear correctly.
- Fixed a bug where the Scout 2's Plasma Machine Gun was not properly inheriting vertical momentum.
- Fixed the Training Arena Settings menu not properly displaying the names of the CQC and Sectioned arenas.
- Fixed a minor bug where the 1366x768 resolution was not saving correctly.
- For anyone using this resolution, you can fix the issue post-update by simply saving the Video Options. There's no need to change anything.
Techical Changes:
- Made multiple background changes in preparation for Hel's Fighters.
- Should not impact gameplay.
How to update the game manually:
- Download the new version.
- Delete the old game folder. Aerostrike's save files are stored in a separate folder, so it is safe to delete the old game files.
- Create a new Aerostrike folder.
- Extract the game files inside the new folder.
