Patch Notes - Version 1.2.3


We interrupt your daily flight to bring a minor patch. This one was originally meant to add the ship portraits to the game, change the game's font, and fix a handful of issues. However, further testing revealed a few more bugs that expected, all of which have been succesfully squashed.

Here is a full list of patch notes:

Gameplay:

  • Improved the responsiveness of the Protective Shield.
    • If you hold down the activation button as the cooldown ends, it will activate the Protective Shield as soon as it's ready.

Visuals:

  • Changed the font used for most of the game's text from Arial to Play.
    • Play font used under the Open Font License, a copy of which is now included with the game.
  • Added a pulse for when the Protective Shield is ready.
  • Improved the animation of various in-game story events.
  • Made Rocket pickups a little brighter.

Audio:

  • Added a sound when swapping weapons.

Campaign:

  • Added a few more shield pickups to the Navigation Storage room in Area 4 - Navigation.

Bugs:

  • Fixed an issue where you could exit the training area before collecting the 23mm cannon.
  • Fixed a text typo on the HEAT Rockets notification.
  • Fixed several inventory texts being too long.
  • Fixed one dialogue line in Chapter 4 being said by the wrong character.
  • Fixed a bug where certain Generator doors would not lock properly.
  • Fixed a bug where the UI cooldown countdown of the Protective Shield would desyncronize after pausing.
    • This only affected the UI's cooldown display. The actual cooldown was never cut short, and remains unchanged.
