So... What's Next? - Plans for the Future


So now that the game is out, what is to become of the future of Aerostrike? There are a few things in the pipeline, but will not appear for a while. For starters, I will be taking a holiday during the month of May. If anyone wants to give feedback or report an issue, please do so before the end of April.

After that, work will begin on adding some additional content to the game. There are two ideas I want to play with:

  • Unique maps where the goal is to find the exit as quickly as possible. Somewhat like how the Demo plays out.
  • Special Scenarios with a unique twist: Playing as an enemy ship! Now you too can ram into enemies with your own Stinger, or facetank inside a lumbering Titan!
  • Other ideas that will have to wait until much later include a horde/survival mode and a tug-of-war mode. I still have to figure out how that last one will even work.

Other than that, work will continue to find a publisher to release on other stores and assist in marketing (if anyone wants to contact me on the topic, please send an email to the address on the game's description). And during my holiday I'll see if I get a chance to post a few more devlogs about miscelaneous topics, like the design of the game or how the AI works.

For the time being, I'll be on standby to fix any bugs that appear as soon as possible. Stay safe, Pilots.
